Specialty Applications

Flat Pack Containers with Bunded Floors are designed to assist in environmental protection by eliminating accidental spillage.  They can be used for storage of oil based products, paints, inks etc. They can be assembled in a warehouse or on site in a very short time.

The drip pan has a capacity of up to 275 litres/72 US Gallons depending on dimensions of the container.  The drip pan is made of 0.1” (2.5 mm) galvanized steel sheet and there is a removable galvanized grill cover for easy access.

An affordable bunded storage unit for the Construction Industry, Farming, the Oil and Mining industry, Military, Municipalities etc..

Description

• Container is made of 0.03” (0.75 mm) galvanized steel

• The framework is made of 0.079” (2 mm) galvanized steel

• The floor is made of 1.5” (35 mm) wooden planks

• It is possible to install ventilation grills into side walls of the container.

• Windows with or without shutters can be installed

• Container’s doorway is 75.9” x 75.9” (1930mm x 1930mm), when double wing door is fully

opened.

Handling

• Fully assembled containers can be lifted by crane or fork-lift.

• There are special fitted corners for attachment by crane.

• The corners are made out of 3mm galvanized steel.

Maximum Load

• Floor load up to 500 kg/square meter(110 lbs/square foot).

• Container load should not exceed 1500 kg (3300 lbs) if handling by crane.

• Container load should not exceed 3000 kg (6600 lbs) if handling by forklift truck.

• Roof load up to 100 kg/square meter (22 lbs/square foot).

• Roof surface can be reinforced to increase the load to  300 kg/square meter

(66 lbs/square foot).

Accessories

• The container can be equipped with shelving set, roof reinforcement set, forklift guides and vandal (safety) bar.  Two and more containers can be connected lengthwise using connecting set.
